Participants explore their emotions and how they project those emotions to the outside world. They begin to develop their own self-awareness and work on practical strategies to help regulate their feelings.

Learning Intention

The Self Workshop focuses on self discovery and challenges participants to develop their own self-awareness around their strengths and characteristics. Participants explore their emotions and form an understanding around how they feel in times of happiness and sadness. Participants will walk away from this workshop with a number of self-awareness and resilience strategies to help support them in reducing anger, disconnection and anxiety. 

Outcomes

Participants will be able to:

  • Understand their own thoughts, feelings and emotions and how they project these to the outside world
  • Develop awareness of their own strengths and characteristics
  • Identify strategies to support them in reducing anger, disconnection and anxiety
  • Develop their ability to move away from a negative mindset
